Having opened in 1897 at a privileged location in the centre of Oerlikon, the Hotel Sternen Oerlikon soon became famous as a popular venue for visitors to the Exhibition Centre Messe Schweiz and the Hallenstadion. Since that time, many international companies have settled in Zurich North, taking advantage of the excellent traffic connections to the city of Zurich and Zurich Airport.
